Hi all and welcome to knightspics. I purchased my first digital camera about 1 1/2 years ago and instantly feel in love with sports photography. I do not do this as a profession but I absolutley love it as a hobby. There is just something about getting that right shot at the right time. My first camera was your run of the mill average digital camera but had great zoom for sports shots. As time went by I needed something a little better so I could not only capture the moment but also capture the quality of the moment. I recently purchased a digital SLR camera that has increased the quality of my shots and has taken my picture taking to whole other level. I hope to soon aquire a better lens then the one I ahve now to accent my camera and improve my quality to that of a pro phtographer.....but that will take time (and a mountain of cash).
